My instructor couldn't really help me with what I wanted to do with my project. I started with needing to find a tool to analyze storm water run-off. I found this software, went out to ESRI's website, downloaded ArcHydro, and installed it. ESRI's site had tutorials on how to use the various tools and had other useful information. The book supported the use of these tools by explaining the concepts in more detail. I recommend this book for anyone who is interested in water resources and don't know much about ArcHydro. I also recommend the Handbook of Hydrology. I found that useful too.

The book was about 5 years old which for software is a bit old but I was able to use it. Thanks
This book would be a good resource for anyone that's a well-experienced ArcGIS user. There is a lot of theory and general concepts, but much of the detail has been left out. Actual real world examples are very limited. I'd recommend using the tools in ArcGIS Spatial Analyst and it's related help information over this book.
It is the best way to understand Hydrology and how can you invest GIS in your project.
I didn't find it too useful. Too bad, I was looking for more of a users handbook for the extension - it's more of an explanation of what it can do, not HOW to do it.
I thought this book would to approach subjects about hydrology related with GIS.I didn't enjoy this book.
